There are a variety of Kelpie in the Land of Veil Claw. Every climate and terrain type has its dominant subspecies. There are ocean Kelpie, lake, river, forest, tropical, and desert Kelpie, for example. Some roam in herds. It’s not uncommon to find them mingled in among grazing Deer Dragons or other creatures of similar color and size. Kelpie are carnivorous creatures. They hunt for small prey in their territory. That said, to beings not on their menu, Kelpie are curious and even friendly.
Kelpie Art Dolls on my to-do list: The next Kelpie I’ll be creating is a Lake Kelpie. I haven’t decided what her colors will be yet. Expect fangs, fins, and scales!
